NTI’s unique intensive schedule and well-rounded curriculum give post-grad students the opportunity to develop their artistic visions, build confidence as professionals, and connect with masters from the industry.

 

As a post-grad student at NTI, you will gain countless hours of work experience; not just in the discipline you intend to focus on, but in multiple different areas of theater. Each theater lab (in which you have 15 hours to put up a fully-realized scene from a play) comes with their own set of challenges and ensemble members, accumulating your depth of theatrical experiences. Walking out of the program, you will have a new repertoire of shows that you will have worked on, which you may find yourself talking about in professional settings for years to come. The sheer amount of hours you are given to devote solely to developing your art is unique in and of itself. 

We also believe our large alumni network is invaluable to you as a recent college grad. By the time your 14 weeks is over, you will have worked closely with over 30 of your ensemble members; who will have their own perspectives, artistic visions, and backgrounds. This unique network of artists will likely remain your closest friends and collaborators for the rest of your life.

Meeting working professionals on a weekly basis will connect you to the current state of theater, and the individuals who are responsible for it. Not only will you get to meet our extensive network of professionals, but you’ll actually get the chance to work with them, giving you access to future jobs, auditions, and professional references for years to come.
